Design a website for a flowershop Calgary

Case Study
Flower Shop

Homepage – 4.png

The Problem

In Calgary, with a long period of cold weather during the year, having flowers and plants inside the house could be very beneficial. However, accessibility to flower shops is somehow limited to the grocery stores. The variety, quality and price of these flowers are not convenient.

User Research

Online flower shops are too crowded

The Categorized items are almost the same

Customizing the items based on the taste is not applicable.

Too much information is needed and too much steps that make the purchase frustrating.

Usability Study

The website version has been presented for two users and an unmoderated usability study has been conducted.

Design

  • The basket icon is not familiar.

  • The Deal items are better to be in different colors.

  • Vertical texts are not readable

Interaction

  • With Click on the logo, it's better to connect to the homepage.

  • The header is not like to be interactive, better show it somehow to guide the user.
